Lavrio
The most beautiful thing about Lavrion is its location. Being on the south-east tip of the Attica peninsula is indeed an advantage. The port is only about 30 km from Athens’ international airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” and is therefore quicker to get to than the yacht harbours in Athens. The Cyclades Islands are practically right at your doorstep and are only a few nautical miles away. The good location is certainly a reason why a large number of charter companies have set up their home port here.
Crete
